Description

In March 2019 I was asked to give several presentations for the Catfish Study Group near Manchester England. I was lucky enough on this trip to be able to purchase 3 tank raised Scleromystax prionotos, bred by Mark Walters. Thankfully towards the end of 2019 I was able to start breeding them, and have a good number of healthy, near adult sized juveniles to offer to you, now. I have been keeping and breeding Corydoradinae catfish since 2011, and I have never seen healthy Scleromystax prionotos available for sale in that time. I have also not heard of anyone else in the US breeding this fish, so this may be a first, if not, it is extremely rare, at least recently. You are bidding on 6 unsexed Scleromystax prionotos that are over 1 inch long TL and are already breeding size/age proven by a few of my prior customers. I prefer to offer USPS Express Shipping for a flat rate of $50.00. Most locations this will get the fish to you overnight, which is best. For some locations, however USPS Express Shipping can be more than 1 day delivery, in this case we can take a look at FEDEX 2 Day shipping, and if the cost is comparable, I find that FEDEX 2 Day has been more reliable when USPS Express cannot offer overnight delivery. Either after the auction is complete, or prior to bidding we can discuss whether or not to use the �Hold for Pickup� option, as having the fish drive around in a local mail truck for hours when outside temperatures are very high or very low is not good for anyone � especially the fish! With the �Hold for Pickup� option the box is delivered and held at your local post office for you to come �pick it up.� Email me, prior to bidding if possible, at rcmclure@gmail.com, with your shipping zip code for delivery times and whether or not we should use �Hold for Pickup� Live delivery is guaranteed, as long as someone is present to receive shipment on the first delivery attempt to an address other than a post office. If using the �Hold for Pickup� service, packages must be picked up within 6 hours from the time they are delivered to your post office in order to preserve the live delivery guarantee. Please send a photo of the deceased fish(es) in the sealed shipping bag within 2 hours of receiving the fish to receive a refund per deceased fish, or replacement(s) if there is enough available stock. Payment must be sent within 5 days of auction end, PayPal is the only accepted method of payment. 3% will be added to the total once Auction price is complete and added to Shipping costs to help cover fees charged by financial parties involved, as well as shipping and transportation materials.
