Hello folks! Happy October! This is another offering for some large Wild Caught Corydoras! Get some while you can folks I spend a lot of effort bugging the importers to get BIG wild caught Corys and it pays off when I see these sort of fish arriving to the USA! You will receive 7 Corydoras trilineatus just like you can see in the photo's below. As usual these were imported as Corydoras julii but they are not julii's. One interesting thing about C trilineatus is they are very wide spread in South America and because of this there are now a few different geographic races of these fish that look somewhat different from one another. To see what I mean go HERE or do a Google photo search on them and you will see some races of trilineatus are very spotted and some have a very reticulated pattern to them. Same goes for their lateral line. Some trilineatus have a single row of small spots following their lateral line and others have a zigzag pattern following their lateral line. The fish you are bidding on are the zigzag type and I made an effort to show you that zigzag pattern in a few of my photo's below. What's it all mean? It means there is a lot more work to do studying the different races of trilineatus across it's range and it also means if you see Petco selling Corydoras julii you can bet your bottom dollar that is NOT what you are looking at! Anyways, all you really need to know is these Corydoras trilineatus are HEALTHY and LARGE and they are what I call the zigzag race. Try to win at least ONE of my "Large/Jumbo" sized Corydoras offering. I put a lot of time and effort into have GREAT Corydoras and I take the time to prep them for shipping plus I bag each one separately so you don't have to witness the disaster of receiving a box of DOA Corys that self poisoned themselves half way to your door!
