School of 6 Corydoras Paleatus - Item code: CPC6
Larger or smaller quantities available on request! Just visit our website, www.aquaticarts.com, or contact us at AquaticArtsIN@gmail.com
These are Peppered Cory Catfish - also known by the names pepper cory cat, blue leopard corydoras, mottled corydoras, and their scientific name, Corydoras paleatus. They are the prettiest little catfish we've seen, and they're fascinating to watch.
These catfish are extremely easy to care for, as long as they live in stable water parameters with good water quality. They do best in tanks that have smooth substrate, such as sand or gravel, as they are bottom-dwelling scavengers. We sell these catfish in a school of 6 because they are known to do best in groups of 6 or more (plus, this makes them more likely to breed!). These fish are omnivores, so they will eat fish food flakes or pellets, as well as freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex, frozen brine, and live worms.
RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS:
- PH level range: 5.8 to 7.0
- Temperature range: 72 to 79 degrees Fahrenheit
- Water type: Very soft to medium hard
- Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, etc.), snails (such as Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), other non-aggressive fish (such as Celestial Pearl Danios, Reticulated Hillstream Loaches, etc.).
- Additional notes: Relatively easy to care for as long as water parameters remain stable. Providing plenty of plant cover is important for these catfish - plants such as java moss, willow hygro, green cabomba, and others.PAYMENT INFORMATION
