Hello folks!Happy Thursday! Did you notice I have been offering more Corydoras lately? It's not cuz I am turning my fish room into a Cory Catfish zoo, it's because I have seen more varieties available the last few weeks and the time to get some is when we can! This offering is for 7 Corydoras septentrionalis which I usually see sold as "Longnose Corys" even though lots of Cory's have long noses. Those Leopardus Corys I am running this week have long noses too! Go bid on them too if you like Longnosed Corys! I also find these septentrionalis hard to get! You know, I don't want to write a 2000 word auction here but I can EASILY offer the common Corydoras here every week but I don't see any real reason to offer the easy to find stuff on the Internet. You folks can just hop into your car and drive right over to your local pet store and pick those up usually for about 2.50 each at least that's what they sell for here in NY. I bet half the time they are even being raised by local breeders in your area and then sold to your local pet shops. You outta support your local breeders in this way. I like messing with the stuff we rarely see around cuz there is something really COOL about checking out and watching fish that were collected thousands of miles away from me and were living in the wild trying to avoid the jaws of predators every day. And that's what these 7 Corydoras septentrionalis were doing down in Venezuela just a few short weeks ago. Ain't that awesome? I think it gives these fish VALUE and makes them worth checking out. It also REALLY gives folks like us incentive to try to breed them so hopefully some day they end up being easier to find too! What's it all mean?
