Happy Friday!
You are bidding on the 10 Adult Longfin Gold Aeneus just like you can see in the 2 moving pictures below!
They are YOUNG BREEDING SIZED Cory's and you can see an example of a nice breeding set up you can use to breed them in below.
It's a VERY simple set up actually.
A bare tank with a sponge filter!
In this type of set up you can feed your breeder size Corydoras LOTS of food without it getting "lost" in your gravel and decaying and as soon as they lay eggs all over the glass you can REMOVE the adults and get ready for the eggs to hatch OR you can scrape the eggs off the glass with a credit card and hatch them in a second container.
Personally I like to just remove the parents. I get a better hatch rate when doing it this way and I am moving strong healthy adults around instead of eggs and tiny fry.
This type of advance planning can make all the difference in the World when attempting to breed and raise a large batch of Corydoras, don't be afraid to move your fish around like this, many times just moving them into the breeding tank can trigger a spawn very quickly!
Anyway that is how you set up to breed these Corydoras and what's really nice is once the eggs hatch the fry can easily find the food to and since you are using a sponge filter there is NOTHING the fry, or the food you offer them, can get sucked into.
