Description

Breeding Group Of Albino Corys
This auction is for my beloved breeding group of albino corys. For those who are new to this, these are the albino version of the basic "green" corydoras, which is a staple in local fish stores.

This is a group of 9+ fish, including 4 plump females.
They are approximately 2-1/4 years old, and they've spawned approximately 15 times. I have watched the spawning a few times, and have seen at least two of these females carrying their eggs around, and attaching them to various places in the aquarium.

All of the fish are fully mature, and should be capable of many more successful spawnings. The fish are virtually perfect, with nice fins, nice gill plates, good barbels, etc.

These fish have been raised primarily on New Life Spectrum pellets, but will eagerly eat a wide variety of foods. I can get them to spawn at any time by simply manipulating their water quality and temperature. I always condition them with the N.L.S. foods, so you will not need to use live or frozen foods, unless that is your preference.

I like this group because they spawn easily, I get high hatch rates from the eggs, and a local fish store will eagerly buy all of the young from me. The fry grow quickly and easily on N.L.S. foods. I don't even bother to provide brine shrimp nauplii to the fry anymore, but they do eagerly eat those, or the decapsulated eggs, if you offer them.

If you are new to spawning these fish, I will be willing to explain my preferred spawning method to the auction winner, and will also tell you to whom I've been selling the progeny, in case you don't have buyers for the young fish. If you need support with regard to getting the eggs to hatch, and/or raising the fry, I am willing to help. Email messages work the best for me, and you'll get a quicker response that way.

These are not difficult to raise, as long as you have basic aquatic husbandry skills, and are willing to follow a few basic directions. If you are new to spawning egg layers, this is a very reasonable first choice for you.

I have kept and spawned these fish in my very hard well water, and also in water that was quite soft. As long as you provide a period of time for adjustment, they don't seem to mind. However, you will likely have a higher hatch rate if you use softer water.

I do not want to ship fish in winter, so I am only offering these for local pickup. I live in the Western suburbs of the Milwaukee Metro area, and will be happy to drive halfway and meet you in a convenient place. One option would be one of local fish stores in the Milwaukee or Waukesha area. If you live farther away than that, simply send and email message to me, and let's see if we can agree upon a meeting place. I don't mind driving a bit farther, as long as the winning auction price is reasonable.

I will accept payment by PayPal. If you prefer, you may mail a U.S.P.S. money order.

I have been keeping fish for a long time. Every fish in my house is vigorous and healthy. My guarantee is that I WILL deliver healthy, frisky catfish to you, in mulitple large bags, with or without Bag Buddies. (You can choose whether or not you want me to use Bag Buddies. I won't skimp on the bags and water, so these fish will NOT be crowded.) These fish have never shown any sign of illness, disease, etc. They are vigorous and hardy, so you can purchase these with confidence.

If you have concerns about paying me, or about how I do business, please go and read my feedback. My family is preparing to re-locate. If it were not for that,I would not be selling any of my fish. If I can keep on task here, I will be posting several additional auctions in the near future, and there will be some good bargains, no doubt. Some of them will be for equipment only, so I'll be able to ship to those who don't happen to live near me.

Payment should be made within (3)days of the conclusion of the auction, if by PayPal. If you are mailing a U.S.P.S. money order, I ask you to have it to me within a week.

SIMPLY SEND AN EMAIL MESSAGE IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. You can write to me at:

damicoxyz@gmail.com

With regard to delivery, I can meet you on one of the following: a Friday evening, a Saturday, or a Sunday afternoon.

As a free bonus, I will include generous samples of at least (5) fish foods, (probably more), as I have a habit of buying way too much food. All of it has been kept in its original containers, inside of double, heavy, plastic bags, and in a deep freeze. Some of the foods will likely be ones that you haven't tried before. I only buy high-quality fish foods, so these foods should be useful for most fish fanatics.

If you have any questions, either before the auction, or after winning it, send an email message to aquafinatic at:

Thank you for checking out this auction, and have a blessed day!
