Price is per fish with a minimum of 3 fish. More available at winning bid price. Corydoras sp. Neon Orange Laser Price at auctions end is per fish. Kindly advise us upon auctions close how many of this species you would like with a minimum order of 3. Please remember that corydoras do not do well with just 1 - 2 of each species. Corydoras should be to kept in shoals of at least 4 - 6 individuals per species as they feel more secure in numbers. These are wild corydoras that we quarantine for 60-90 days before we start selling them. We go to great lengths to make sure they are in top condition before we even consider selling them. There are so-called C. aeneus variants that are all exported out of Peru, the exact locations where these species are found is not known, except to the people that actually collect them. They are the most beautiful members of the group and are distinct species. The first of these is the one known in the hobby as the "Peru Green Stripe" or "Green Laser" this like the Corydoras aeneus "Black" is a slim bodied fish with dark upper body with a brilliant iridescent green stripe running the full length of the upper body, the fins are a light olive green. The second of these species is similar in shape and base color, but it posses a brilliant golden orange stripe and has a golden/olive color to the fins, these are known as "Peru Orange Stripe" or "Orange Laser" corydoras in the hobby. The final one of these is a species with a more typical Corydoras aeneus body shape and color, although generally darker, but the striking feature of this fish is a bright almost straight gold streak running from above and slightly behind the eye across the upped back fading out as it gets level with the adipose fin. These are known in the hobby as the "Gold Laser" or "Gold Shoulder" corydoras. When these species first arrived in the hobby it was thought that there were dyed or injected fish, but it soon became obvious that they were not once hobbyists started to breed them and the colors were showing true in the resulting fry.
