Description

Selling 5+ Brown Hoplo aka Hoplosternum littorale. Currently 1-1/2" (close to 1-1/2 months old) but will get 8" long. Males of this species are not suitable for most planted tanks as they will grab onto and tug on plants until they give so that it can build a bubble nest using them =)

Following is a pic of what you can expect to get from these catfish. Scroll down to the bottom and you can see what they look like at about a month old.

The males do eventually get thick pectoral spines but while young they could be used as feeder fish as the fins are soft. IE: They are prolific if old enough and given enough building materials.
