Description

This auction is for 5 Unsexed Betta Picta. These Betta Picta are Juvenile Betta Picta, First generation from wild caught parents. They are young adult fish that are just beginning to color up. They are a very peaceful species, the parents of these fish are some of my most active and favorite fish in my fishroom. These are a great beginner species of wild betta, they are not very aggressive with each other, I have had no aggression problems with them. Males are very colorful in full mating dress with a very vibrant blue bar on the edge of their fins, along with a dark red color on their fins. They can be kept in groups in a 10 gallon or larger tank or in pairs in a 5 gallon. They need lots of hiding places in the tank and love caves. These are a great beginner species for those just looking to get into Wild Betta. The fish are roughly 1.25-1.5 inches now, they have a max size of 2-2.25 inches. They are a mouth-brooding species. Water parameters: Ph 6-6.5 (They'll do okay at 7-7.5 but <7 for best color and Breeding) Tds: 80 Temp: 75-82F Currently eating Frozen Brine Shrimp/Bloodworms, Blackworms and Grindal worms. Can be taught to take pellets, their parents do, but live or frozen foods work the best. Payment will be with PayPal, I will send an invoice after contacting! Shipping will be either UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air. UPS 2nd Day Air will be $20 and UPS Next Day Air will be $40. I ship Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, only Next Day Air can be shipped Thursdays. I will fast the fish 1 Day before shipping. Please wait to order if your temperatures will be below 35F or above 95F. I do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska, sorry. I also offer local pick up if you are local. DOA- In the unfortunate event of a DOA, please take pictures of the fish in the UNOPENED bags, and contact me with the pictures within 2 hours of delivery. DO NOT OPEN the bags, once the bags are open the Live Arrival Guarantee is void. I will replace or refund the dead fish minus the cost of shipping. DO NOT leave fish sitting outside in the elements, please be home to receive the package as soon as it is delivered or make plans for someone to be home to bring package inside.
