acquired this very large (3x the size of my Betta apiapi) Betta hendra female last week from AquaBid seller "Sloey927" who had posted an auction entitled "***** Betta Hendra (Female ONLY) *****" and who actually had not one but TWO female Betta hendra available - feel free to contact "Sloey927" to verify this ( aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/closed.cgi?view_closed_item&fwbettas1458876153 ) . I got her because for 10 days my Betta apiapi male maintained a bubble-nest but the B. apiapi female (my 1 and only) was not receptive. B. hendra + glass divider added to tank and <24hrs later I had B. apiapi eggs in the nest [just 1 of many tricks learned breeding bubble-nesters during the last 40yrs, inter-breedable competition serves an an adequate substitute]. I no longer need her and I'm not interested in acquiring a male for her, just freeing up as much space as possible as soon as possible for ongoing + upcoming projects. Would prefer pick-up but will ship, you must pay shipping, and no refund if DOA; prefer to ship near rather than far, e.g. East Coast rather than West Coast
