Hello folks! Happy Friday! This offering is for 2 Pr's. of F0 wild Adult Betta pugnax. These CAN be kept together in the same tank. These are mouthbrooders and I had a Male holding eggs earlier this week but today when I fed them he was eating along with the other 3 so nothing came of those eggs. These are REALLY nice beefy fish and my photo's are rather lousy so you might want to Google this species of Betta before deciding these fish aren't for you. The Males are about 4 inches long and the Females about 3. These are also pretty HARD to find and most folks that offer them do not guarantee the sexes. If you are looking for a big impressive wild type mouth brooding Betta to mess with and you don't want to blow 100's of dollars on a group of macrostoma yet OR go through the hassle of transhipping this might be the auction for you. I have been feeding these fish Freeze Dried Plankton, Frozen Brine Shrimp, and small earthworms I can collect in my back yard. They WILL eat anything meaty but I do NOT recommend feeding them frozen bloodworms. I had had serious issues feeding bloodworms to wild type bettas in the past and don't feel it's worth the risk. Oh, one more thing that's kind of important-these fish are accomplished jumpers and are prone to finding a way out of their tank and onto your floor especially the first couple of nights you own them. Keep that in mind and keep them covered especially while they are settling in to their new tank.
