Betta simplex four juveniles/Young Adults These sedate, moderately sized mouthbrooders have been bred in a planted 10 gallon species tank. I will send four juveniles, 1.5 2.5 TL. If you dont get a pair when they grow out Ill send a fish. These fish are fast growing and should be breeding in 3 months (or less). I think they are large enough that I can tell male and female apart now. The photo is a male and female from the parents generation. It could be the father and mother. Note the female is smaller than the male, the picture is a collage. These fish can be kept and bred in soft or hard water. These were bred in hard water, 5-6 KH, >30 GH. The fish are paternal mouthbrooders and good parents. They look and behave similarly to Betta picta but are more difficult to breed. These fish eat anything but routinely get pellet food (golden pearls and red crumb ala Tim Addis). They are supplemented with baby brine shrimp, walter and grindal worms. Priority shipping ~$12, FedEx or Expressmail (about $32) will depend on location of buyer. I ship from zip code 74105 and the box will be 2 2.5 lbs. This price includes a 72 hour heatpack and you can keep the box. Live delivery guaranteed with overnight or express mail services ( but not with Priority mail). Note that the guarantee does not include shipping. Add a live food culture starter at no additional shipping cost. $2 each for grindal worms, whiteworms, D. hydrei (flightless) or D. melanogaster (wingless). $1 each for vinegar eels, walter worms, banana worms. Culture instructions will be included. Any payment accepted but Paypal preferred. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
