Up for auction is a proven pair of Laetacara araguaiae, AKA the Purple Smiler, born & raised right here in Brooklyn. This is a beautiful, peaceful & plant friendly SA dwarf; males grow to 3", females 2.5". Easy keepers & breeders, they'll spawn every week or so. The pair you'll receive aren't fully grown, but have produced free swimming young several times. Fry are tiny at first; I start them on microworms & switch to BBS a week later. USPS priority shipping is $20.00, but only to the NYC tri state area - NY, NJ & CT. Due to delays caused by the pandemic, instead of the usual 1-3 days, priority can now take 4 days or more to most of the country, the result being a box full of dead fish & an unhappy buyer. I will ship express to the entire continental U.S. & live arrival is guaranteed. Shoot me an e-mail with your zip code for a price quote. Pick-ups are always welcome, with social distancing, of course. Fish will be shipped in an insulated box. Payment is by PayPal only.
