Please read entire auction before bidding. Shipping will be $8.00 on top of whatever the auction closes at. Shipping will be via USPS Priority. No replacements. No guarantees. Think carefully about this before bidding. The fish will be healthy when they leave my hands.

Up for auction are at least 8 tiny juvenile "Gold Fire Apistos". The largest of the juvies is pictured at the bottom. These are a domesticated strain of A. agassizi. The parents of the juvies are pictured. They are not for sale.

Do not be misled. These are small fish. Do not complain after you get them and say you thought they were bigger. They are beyond the critical point and are eating live baby brine shrimp. I am keeping them in very soft water. I use a combination of RO water with a small fraction of regular medium hard tap water. You would be well advised to have similar water waiting. Apistos do best in warm, soft water. While they will survive in cooler, harder water they will not thrive and their eggs stand little chance of hatching.

The fish are healthy, colorful, eating, and thriving. It will be up to YOU to provide them with conditions to guarantee that they continue to do so.
