Apistogramma viejita ‘Rio Meta’

This auction is for A PAIR (male and female) of fish.

The Rio Meta, Columbia, population of A. viejita is one of the prettiest of a species with a wide range of color patterns. I really like the rich browns paired with the reds, yellows and oranges. This is not a hard apisto to keep for breed, but they can be somewhat aggressive. I prefer to keep this species in groups in larger aquariums, because the interactions between males and females seems to encourage more spawning.

PURCHASING TERMS:

Prices on this auction are valid for the fish on the auction only. Additional fish/plants available at the prices listed on my web site. (linked in the banners above and below) Minimum order for shipping is $25 worth of fish and/or plants. Auctions may be combined to reach minimum order, or additional items may be purchased off of the stock list on my web site.

SHIPPING TERMS:

Shipping by FedEx Overnight Service only… still too cold for 2nd day. Overnight services have a guaranteed live arrival, cost of fish only, unless the shipment arrives late. Losses due to late arrival need to be addressed to FedEx. Shipping cost on orders under $75 are quoted case by case. Shipping cost on orders $75 or greater going to the contiguous 48 states are: Priority overnight: $55 Standard Overnight: $50 FedEx Ground/Home Delivery may be an overnight service if you are located in WI, northern IL, northwest IN, western MI, northeastern IA or south eastern MN. Ground/Home Delivery rates start at $12. If you are in this area you will be given the inexpensive option when we set up the shipping. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories are quoted case by case. Customers in Hawaii are responsible for providing me with the correct import permit documentation. Shipping on the first Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after the auction ends, weather permitting. I cannot hold fish for more than the few days needed to complete the transaction

PAYMENT TERMS:

Payment required within 48 hours of end of auction and before shipment. Preferred payment by PayPal or credit card through PayPal. Credit cards accepted over the phone with Square will incur a 3% transaction fee. Money orders and personal checks not accepted from first-time customers. (Payment through the mail is too slow unless you are willing to overnight the check.)
