Shipping includes a styro lined box with a 72 hour heat pack. First off, let me explain why this auction is happening. There is a long time Aquabid user, HCA Aquatics,,,,,her real name is Holly. She has been a selfless participant of Aquabid for some time,,,,she has single handedly done the Saturday Night Express thing here many times,,,she has offered auction after auction here at low prices to promote the hobby,,,she is active in her local clubs,,,,she is a very special person. Last year at this time,,,just before Christmas, circumstances arose in my life,,,,through no one's fault but my own,,,that left me in dire straits. I needed money. It was a serious lifetime event that I needed help with. I never asked her for help, but she took it upon herself to bring together many Aquabid users to help me out,,,,and help me they did. She has done the same for others as well. My life is more stable now,,,,and now,,,a year later,,,Holly is facing some major life challenges of her own. She needs help in a profound way. I am not rolling in the dough, so to speak, so I have done the only thing I can. I have rallied the help of Daniel Kennedy, aka "Dkapistos" on Aquabid,,,and put together this special auction to raise money for Holly. ALL PROCEEDS EXCEPT FOR SHIPPING,,,,will go directly to Holly. Please be generous. It's the Christmas season for crying out loud,,,she has a family. Up for auction are a dozen or so,,,,Apistogramma cacatouides. 3 different kinds. These will all be unsexed grow outs. They are amazingly healthy fish, raised in hard Florida water,,,not exposed to chemicals or medications like so many fish offered these days. These are,,,as healthy as they come. The first ones are double reds. Here is a picture of a young adult male who is the father of these young. The second kind is an orange A. cacatouides, again, a picture of a young adult who fathered the young you will receive. The last kind is a wild strain of A.cacatouides,,these will either be F-1s or F2's,,,,not sure. Here is the adult male. The auction is for 12 grow outs. That is four of each kind. These will be unsexed but we will use our best judgement to see to it that you have pairs. Surely, with twelve fish you will have something to work with and extras may or may not be included,,,depending on how high the bidding goes. Daniel Kennedy, (Dkapistos), is an excellent breeder of fine fish. They are hhealthy, colorful fish. It will be up to you to provide these fish with the conditions to ensure their growth and to see to it that they thrive. Holly is a very special person.
