Apistogramma cacatuoides, the Cockatoo or Big-mouthed Cichlid (Triple Red) Six young adults/, about 1.5 2.0 TL. This will be my last batch of cockatoos until late August. I will choose three pair. The males are obvious, and Im pretty sure which are females now. These fish have been spawned and raised in hard water. Tulsa water is 6 KH and >30 GH. The parents were spawned and raised in this water and their spawns have been raised in this water. These fish were initially raised in the same tank with their parents but have been moved to a grow out tank as another spawn in growing up in the parents' tank. The pictures are the parents of the fish for sale; top is male and bottom female. The female is actually only one third the size of the male. These fish eat anything but I feed cichlid flakes, pellet foods, brine shrimp, walter worms and grindal worms. The fish are living in hard water with flower pots, rootwood and plants. Buyer pays shipping. I use a heat pack, ship from zip 74105 and the box will be 2 - 2.5 lbs. You keep the Styrofoam box. Priority will likely be $10-12 (less $2 if no heatpack), Expressmail or Second Day Fedex will be more, ~$30-35. If you have the fish shipped by Expressmail, 2nd day Fedex or overnight they are guaranteed. If the fish are DOA their cost will be refunded or I will ship replacements. I dont refund the shipping charges and you have to pay shipping again for replacement fish.
