Description

This is a proven male sunset / female koi pair that I purchased from Angels Plus. Here is the url - http://www.angelsplus.com/pairs2115.htm Their website states this: "One is a singe-dose Koi, so the offspring will be 50% Sunsets and 50% Single-dose Koi (lightly marked). The Sunsets we have raised from this pair have been superb (currently for sale on the Sunset page)". They have had several spawns and are a regular spawning pair. The reason why they are for sale is that I do not like the tailfins on their offspring. I have a group on sale also on AquaBid that you can view. I am not sure if it is genetic or not. None of my other spawns have the problem and they are all raised the same way. It is your choice if you want to try them or not. The price is low, so you can take a chance on them or you could cross the male or female with another fish to try to figure out which one is causing the bad tailfins, or whatever you would like to try. I am being upfront and honest with you. If you do not want to take the chance, no problem. I just thought I could give someone an opportunity. I will ship them either Express or Priority, but would prefer "Express", it is always best option. There is LAG (Live Arrival Guarantee) on them.
