Description

I have two pairs of these available, but this auction is ONLY for one pair. Both pairs are exactly the same - the two females are both dark pinoy, and the two males are both marble. Actually, the females are sisters to each other, and the males are brothers to each other - but the females are NOT related to the males, and vice versa. They are producing MASSIVE spawns! I have a photo of some of their wrigglers and it's easily 300-400 little fry! If you are looking for a pair that can stock a LFS regularly, these are the ones!

The parents have successfully raised their fry to free-swimming, although I usually separate them right after that, so I can't confirm if they will continue to properly care for them or not.

I've raised two spawns from one pair, and one from the other. The babies were silver, silver clown, ghost, black (single dose only), white (NOT platinum), and marble, and all of those varieties with combinations of sunset (weak yellow-gold forehead) and pinoy (blue color).

The males were supposed to be marble pearlscale when I originally got them. I don't know if the pearlscale gene is RECESSIVE (meaning dominant would cover it up), but I know neither of them are actually showing the pearlscales. If it's recessive, then they may be carrying it and just not displaying it. So I will not promise that they have the gene at all, because I don't quite know how that gene works.

The females are MORE than ready to breed again. I've got them separated by gender for now, and the females are still trying to lay eggs with each other!

I apologize for the low-quality photos. I will NEVER use tranquilizers on my fish for photos, and rarely remove them from their tanks for photos either. That means they are usually in my breeder tanks or grow-out tanks - dirt, algae and all! Often times, the photos are blurry, have debris floating around, or they are too dark or too light. I simply take lots of pictures for about 15 minutes, and then pick out the ones that showcase the fish the best.

SHIPPING WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL $20 FOR PRIORITY MAIL! Express shipping will be an additional $45.
