Description

Time to thin out one of the angelfish broods!

This brood had a marble pearlscale father, and a single-dose black pinoy mother. The resulting fry are marble, silver, clown, and any of those varieties with a single dose black gene. Many of them are indeed showing hints of the pinoy genes (blueish-purple hue). But most of my angelfish don't really develop their blues until they are half-dollar size.

They are already eating beefheart and tropical flakes, and are healthy and outgoing. They come to the top easily when I put my hand in the tank, ready to grab food directly from me.
