Description

Time to thin out one of the angelfish broods!

This brood had a marble pearlscale father, and a black pinoy mother. The resulting fry are marble, silver, ghost, and any of those varieties with a single dose black gene. I do not yet know if any of them are dispaying the pearlscale or pinoy genes.

They are already eating beefheart and tropical flakes, and are healthy and outgoing. They come to the top easily when I put my hand in the tank, ready to grab food directly from me. Since posting the original auction, the fry have grown a little bit and MANY of them are starting to show the pinoy blue coloring of their mother. I can't see it very well on the blacks yet, but many of the marbles and silvers are indeed growing some blue on their heads!
