Description

Description You are purchasing dime to quart

Description: You are purchasing our Orange-Red Koi Veiltail Angelfish (freshwater, tropical). The first two pictures are of the adults and the next two are of the youngsters. These develop more red than our other line of Koi (hence the name). The founding stock of this line was purchased from AngelsPlus.

Shipping: Shipping is $17.75 via Priority Post and includes heat pack (if necessary), oxygen and triple bagging. We can ship up to a total of 12 at no additional shipping charge.

Our Guarantee: Full price of fish (but not shipping) will be refunded if (1) fish is received on first delivery attempt, and (2) a picture of the deceased individual(s) in their unopened bag is sent via email within two hours of receipt.

Shipping Schedule: We ship on Saturdays only. We need to receive payment by Thursday in order to have time to properly prepare your fish. Orders typically arrive at your door on Monday. Please bid only if you are ready to receive fish now. Continental U.S.A. only.

Combined Shipping: Combined shipping on some of our auctions. We charge by the box. Please email the number, size and type of angelfish you are interested in and we will be more than happy to provide a quote.

Quality: We use a double selection process to ensure you receive the highest quality fish. First, in their grow-out tanks, we pull out any fish with bent fins, missing gill plates, or other imperfections. Second, when fish are ordered, we hand select and inspect each one as they are transferred into special shipping tanks. We do at least six small partial water changes on the shipping tanks to flush the fishes digestive tract.  All this is to ensure that we send out the best product possible.

About Angelfish Galore: We are a small family business dedicated to providing high quality, healthy angelfish to the discriminating hobbyist. Dawn and Mark have over sixty years combined experience in the aquarium hobby. We have bred everything from guppies, African cichlids, and bettas to seahorses and discus. We keep coming back to angelfish. They are not as exotic as some of the fish that have won our hearts over the years, but we agree with the title they have long held: king of the aquarium. They are a smart, charismatic fish, with an interesting shape, and they come in a wide variety of colors. They are hard to resist.

We breed all the angelfish we sell: we are not middlemen. We started with the best breeding stock money could buy. We have paid large sums for some of the juvenile angelfish that eventually became part of our breeding stock. We charge only a fraction of what we paid for the juveniles we sell. How do we do it? Our business is designed from the ground up to efficiently serve discerning angelfish hobbyists. Heres part of our secret:

(i)                  We save on heating costs: the warm New Mexico sun, along with plenty of insulation, keeps our fishroom at a perfect temperature year round.

(ii)                We have an advanced and specially designed filtration system that saves on water and electricity.

(iii)               We ship only one day a week. This permits us to be very efficient with our time. Most of the cost of an angelfish from professional breeders pays for the human labor that goes into producing them. Using our time in the most efficient manner equals higher quality fish at a lower price for the consumer.
