Multi-Het Pair Spawn

Unique Fry

These angelfish fry are quarter/pre-quarter sized and are from a very strong spawning pair. This pair produces a large verity of types (Het means a single dose of a gene that is a hidden gene unless the babies get two doses (usually one from each parent) and the hidden gene becomes a 'showing' gene. This pair produces a varied mix of babies: albino, half black, stripe-less, ghost, zebra, phillipine blue and more. Glitter and Pearl are in the mix as well, so even if they are not Forrest Gump's chocolate, you never really know what you will get (or what the babies of their babies will be). The flash tends to wash out the zebra stripes on these, but they do produce lots of zebra babies (but they also have the stripeless gene, and these two genes interact). Also, they are single dose veil, so the babies will be varied from standards to single and double dose (super) veils.

I have lots more of these fish at larger sizes so this spawn was left in with the parents, thinking that only a few would make it, but looks like there are more than 40 in the tank. None of the Albino's made it, but these fry may have that (hidden) gene so some might show up in later generations.That said, I'll include a couple of the albinos from an earlier spawn so you'll get a more complete selection. The glitter/pearlscale genes do not express until they are much bigger, about silver dollar sized, but a few should as they grow up.
