TERRAPINS AUCTIONS AT AQUABID.COM
The picture is of the actual parent pair of the UD sized individuals, also pictured (inset), stocking this auction. They're in phase 1 to 2 of color development (refer to the color-development diagram below). They can be fed flakes but as is my practice, I continue to feed my fish with freshly hatched brine shrimp until they're Q sized (you don't have to, but it does get them bigger quicker inexclusive of other factors, of course). The frame capture was taken about a week ago so they've grown a bit more than portrayed.
THANK YOU FOR VISITING AND HAPPY BIDDING!
Ted
Sunsets ( coveraged) 2 to 3 phases, Vermilion Marble Blushings 3 to 5 phases, Tiger-Orange Kois 3 phases, and Vermilion Kois 4 to 5 phases. All start their pigmented lives as black and flesh colored fish for marbled types.

RECEEDING BLACK PIGMENTATION IN MY KOI LINEAGES
The older offspring of this pair were sold in a prior auction. This auction's stock is their current brood which are U/P sized. These are still on brine shrimp though their diet is being supplemented now with crushed flakes. So by the time this gets delivered to you, you can increase the flakes and lessen freshly hatched brine shrimp. However, as is my practice, I do not wean them off of brine shrimp until they're about quarter size. Afterall, it does make them grow quicker.
