TERRAPINS AUCTIONS AT AQUABID.COM
These are progeny of the pictured pair (inset). All are UD/P size. They're on flakes but I still recommend indulging them with freshly hatched brine shrimp when possible to supercharge the rate of growth. They're at an age that ships excellently and are not difficult to care for so long as you adhere to the tenets of ideal angelfish care practices. This is a semi-WYSIWYG; i.e. the kois in the image are part of this auction's stock but selection is via scoop of the net and not individually selected therefore you may or may not get the specific ones in the picture (which was taken last month so they've grown relative to the it). Color wise, they're now entering pre-phase 1 to phase 1 (see pictorial of color phases below).
Lastly, these are same spawn siblings to the individuals in my current Sunset Blushing auction. If you get both auctions, I will discount the Sunset auction by 40%. I recommend doing so if you prefer to have less black markings in Kois. Sunsets are an economical alternative to using another Koi with less markings. In this specific case, they will have homologous genetics with their koi siblings and therefore attrition of ideal traits resulting from the cross of 2 distinct strains will have less of an impact.
THANK YOU FOR VISITING AND HAPPY BIDDING!
Ted
Sunsets ( coveraged) 2 to 3 phases, Vermilion Marble Blushings 3 to 5 phases, Tiger-Orange Kois 3 phases, and Vermilion Kois 4 to 5 phases. All start their pigmented lives as black and flesh colored fish for marbled types.

RECEEDING BLACK PIGMENTATION IN MY KOI LINEAGES
For those unfamiliar with my Kois, besides the fact that they were developed some 13yrs back independent of anyone else's lineage of kois (vis-a-vis using imported goldmarble and blushing stock), the majority of individuals sporting an excessively dark area above the lateral line upwards and/or has a solid posterior half-black- like pattern, will more than likely lose about 99% of black-peppering on the top half of either flanks and 20% to 95% of heavy black posterior markings. Below is a short video clip and accompanying pictorial which I collected over a 22 month period.
