This and the other pair on auction this month are what I class as practice pairs - they're excellent for hobbyists who want to explore the wonderful world of angelfish reproduction but really not sure whether it is for them. They're not shabby looking fish at all but the female does have a minor imperfection but which is not inheritable (will not be inherited by its progeny).

They are approx. 12 mos. old and spawned thrice in their community stock tank. One thing's for sure, the instinct to nurture young, a behavioral trait that I've selected towards with every passing generation, runs strong in all my angels, this pair included. Both come from my high iridescence green lineage of leopards. Unfortunately, the textbook feature I bred into the lineage - high iridescence is all but barely captured, thanks in full to my necessary-at-the-moment makeshift photo tank whose greatest impediment is iridescence-unfriendly lighting,
