Description

Nice young halfblack pair. One or both fish may carry a stripeless (ghost) gene. If both fish do, you will get 25% blushing halfblacks. Both are veil fin. About 8 to 9 months old. Spawned at least twice, hatched to wigglers which they ate shortly thereafter. These do not carry the Philippine Blue gene. My Halfblack project is moving in the direction of Philippine Blue Halfblacks so this pair goes to a new home. In this halfblack line, I�have been able to get a 30-40% turn rate when young fish are fed live food multiple times per day and kept in very spacious conditions. Crowding and poor quality dry food keeps turn rates down.�Fish will ship to winning bidder on about�July 1.�We continue to get fish pairing up with no more dedicated breeding room. We only ship fish one day per week. You will be provided tracking information when your package ships. ALL packages are held at your local post office for pickup. Pickup instructions will be sent with the tracking number.

Pairs�are professionally packed (see our feedback) in insulated containers year-round. In cool/cold weather they ship with heat packs. Our packing methods ensure safe arrival of your fish even in the event of a delay in transit.

Proven pairs are live-arrival guaranteed only when held for pickup at a local post office. In case of any loss, price of fish will be refunded if clear photos are sent within 2 hours of pickup. No shipping charges are refundable.

In the event of a problem, please contact us immediately and provide a photo within 2 hours of pickup. We do our very best to work with each customer to ensure satisfaction.

With each pair we sell, we have successfully hatched their spawns. We do NOT guarantee that you will have the same success. Too many factors can affect a spawning pair of fish and these factors are beyond our control once the fish leave our hatchery. We do our best to provide great proven pairs, but it is up to you to provide them an environment where they may continue breeding.
