Description

TERRAPINS AUCTIONS AT AQUABID.COM
This will be the last set from this red-orange (Vermilion) pair since I lost the male quite unexpectedly a week ago. There were no visible signs of why it succumbed while parenting the pair's newest brood. The video clip (scroll down some) is of the actual offspring from them all of which are in the latent phase 1 to initial phase 3 of color development. See pictorial below for reference. Neither the Sunsets nor Vermilion Marble Blushings are part of this auction. End-of-auction additionals will not be offered.

Sunsets (coveraged) 2 to 3 phases, Vermilion Marble Blushings 3 to 5 phases, Tiger-Orange Kois 3 phases, and Vermilion Kois 4 to 5 phases. All start their pigmented lives as black and flesh colored fish for marbled types and 2 to 3 for Sunsets from Kois (with coverage).

ACTUAL AUCTION STOCK

RECEEDING BLACK PIGMENTATION IN MY KOI LINEAGES

For those unfamiliar with my Kois, besides the fact that they were developed some 13yrs back independent of anyone else's lineage of kois (vis-a-vis using imported goldmarble and blushing stock), the majority of individuals sporting an excessively dark area above the lateral line upwards and/or has a solid posterior half-black- like pattern, will more than likely lose about 99% of black-peppering on the top half of either flanks and 20% to 95% of heavy black posterior markings. Below is a short video clip and accompanying pictorial which I collected over a 22 month period.

*NOTE:

- Free shipping is via FedEx Home which is a ground service with a d elivery timeframe of generally 1 to 2 business days. Your order is covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee on up to 48hrs.

- In rare instances FedEx Home will spit out a 72hr or on even rarer cases, 96hr delivery timerframes. You will be advised should this be the case and although transit time frames that go beyond 48hrs are not covered by the Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG), you may request to have it upgraded to a transit time that is. Only the difference between the non-LAG'able timeframe shipping cost and your selection IS a customer out of pocket and you will therefore find it as a line item on your bill.

- The 48hr. window is defined as the time-stamp of its having been physically registered at the carrier's premises to the time-stamp indicating its arrival at your premises or if an "office-to-office" delivery, the time it was registered after it was physically delivered to the destination carrier office plus a delay tolerance of 4 hrs. to give you a bit of leeway.

- LAG-claims re-shipment is a customer out-of-pocket and you have the option to have it re-shipped at a 24hrs or 48hrs. timeframe.
