Description

The fish in the picture are sold, waiting to be shipped tomorrow. Even I have to admit that the tank has a ton of colors in it. But the picture of the fish is pretty darn close to reflecting the color in most of the other young Koi I am going to be offering for sale over the next month or so. Not all have as much color as these two, but most, for quarter sized angels, have far more color already than the normal strains of Koi do. Parents were from a Florida strain of High Coverage Koi 50% or greater. Not the Angels Plus 90%er or even Mellows 80%, but darn pretty fish none the same. I only ship using UPS Ground any more. Overnight or two day are available if you're willing to pay huge up charges to the UPS Store to get it. With an insulated box, a heat pack, and good wrapping, these fish will make the 3 day trips to any location in the lower 48 via Ground. USPS has now killed more of my fish than I care to count and I'm past being tired of trying to get my insurance money back from them. Can't sue City Hall, and the USPS just became that to me. Fed Ex will not ship live in or out of this area because they've had to pay too many claims for killing live animals I guess. Don't know. Just know they won't. Asking less than the fish are worth means I can not absorb the extra costs of buying the box, buying the sheets of styrofoam and cutting them to fit inside, the cost of the heat pack, or even Pay Pal's charges for you and I using them to exchange the money. Thus, I will have to add a $5 shipping and handling assessment to the final winning bid for these fish. I have two full large tanks of these fish available. You can ask for more once you win the bid. Or you can email me an order for more, once you get these first ones and see what I'm talking about for color and shape. I am a very small time breeder of mostly Cory. Haven't even been doing a whole lot of that of late either. I'm not an import/export business. I'll be glad to give you any answers I might be able to offer. Simply use this site to mail those questions to me and I'll try to get right back to you. Be advised, I'm not that smart, so I may not have an answer for you. :-)
