This is a buddy's Koi which he purchased from a breeder in Chicago who sold it to him as a purebred F2 Hlasnik/Rybicki KOI. He said it spawned once but wasn't sure if it was responsible for the eggs or not (most definitely looks like a female to me but I can't be absolutely sure since I am not familiar with Steve's Koi lineage's body phenotypes or whether there are any subtle gender di-morphic clues). So far as my impression on quality, I think it's a very decent looking individual but it does have a slightly creased ventral fin which looks like it was from an injury as opposed to a genetic anomaly. Given it's pedigree, the quality of its color dimensions, his asking price plus free shipping, I'd have to say you can't go wrong at all with purchasing this, in fact, I think it's a steal!.

Lastly, I got conned into shipping and guaranteeing it's live arrival for him so all communications will be with me. LOL
