Description

TERRAPINS AUCTIONS AT AQUABID.COM
Other than you get 10 dime/underdimes which are eating flakes, the pictures of the parent pairs and video of the actual fish is self-explanatory. There's a very minute amount of sunsets left so you may end up with no Sunsets just kois. Selection via scoop of the net. A diet of high-protein/carbs staple flakes supplemented by freshly hatched brine shrimp plus rearing them in hard water with a high pH. This equates to high calcium and minerals; my TDS and pH is 350ppm and 8.2 respectively if you have RO, you can use the the reject water ammended by permeate which is what I do. Reject water is cleaner than tap since it goes thru prefilters, additional banks of prefilters prior to the membrane will clean it even more) will ensure quick growth and strong bones. One caveat: you must maintain your growouts daily or do not use this method; you'll end up with bacterial blooms and most likely lots of dead fish.

HOUSE OF ORANGE KOIS

For those unfamiliar with my Kois, they were developed some 12yrs ago using imported non-Koi bloodlines from Asia and Europe. T his means that I developed them independent of existing lineages and to date they remain as 1 of 4 independent Koi lineages in the US. If youre a Koi enthusiast, youll most likely know who t he other 3 are (though one appears to have possibly gone extinct....and it ain 't mine either).

If youre a casual hobbyist, this wont matter but if you breed angels, this is significant and key to why they're excellent out-cross material. Alternatively, they can be used as foundation stock for a Ko i breeding program. It's no wonder why the majority of my Koi customers here and elsewhere are either professional breeders themselves as well as hobbyist-breeders.

Note: Tiger Orange Kois - 3 phases, Vermilion Kois - 4 phases, Sunset B lush ings - 2 to 3 (doe snt have a phase 1 and transitory phases are dependent on whether they came from Tigers or Verms), Vermilion Marble Blushings 4 (extended color development timeframe compared to any of the above).
