SUNSETS 2

This is a partial WYSIWYG (see pictorial at the bottom is this auction�s partial stock) � selection via scoop of the net (unless stated, all "scoop of the net" type selection stock are from groups of pre-culled fish). These Sunsets aren't lineage bred but are a side variety produced by some of my Koi pairs in addition to their Koi offspring. The big advantage is they pass on their lineage's coveted traits of color intensity, hue, and body color coverage. Though many of my pairs produce Sunsets, only 3 produce progeny whose dimensions of color are consistently worthy to be used for breeding purposes from one spawning to the next. Because the characteristics of the gold gene can suppress or enhance other traits in the proper combination, enthusiasts who purchase them from me focus more on this versatility and therefore acquire them as a stepping stone towards developing other phenotypes.

Since I seem to be in perpetual want of tank space in spite of my yearly efforts to make more room, the availability of these coverage enabled sunsets is highly limited therefore if you need some, this and the other 2 auctions are your last chance for the year most likely. Lastly, I rarely keep veiltails but may have some which you may request in addition if you win the auction. They come at a $5.00 premium per individual, additional to the per fish amount that you won the auction for.
