Description

You are bidding on 6 nickel sized Orange Pearlscales. These babies are growing fast. I got the parents from a local fish store (imports from China) and they are truly magnificent. This is the first spawn and because I do not have any knowledge of their genetic background, I cannot guarantee that these babies will look exactly like their parents. I don�t know if the genetics are like other koi type strains, or if this is something new. There were no gold, blushing or koi babies in the spawn, and the marbling of the babies is heavier than the parents. At the very least, they should all be pearlscale. Pictures are of the parents and a representative shot of the fish up for bid. The male also exhibits the threadfin trait.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING -- Shipping is $20 for Priority Mail. Please email me your zip code for an Express Mail quote (average price is around $50). Shipping will be on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday only, and due to the nationwide heat wave I suggest shipping with a 'HOLD FOR PICK-UP AT POST OFFICE' unless your daytime temperatures are less than 90 degrees. Fish will be bagged in Kordon breather bags. Live arrival is guaranteed for express shipments only. In the unlikely event of DOA, email me a clear picture of any/all DOA fish in original unopened bag within 2 hours of acceptance/delivery. I will offer a pro-rated refund for DOA(s) based on auction close price. No refund on shipping costs.

PAYMENT-- I accept PAYPAL only. Payment must be received within 48 hours of auction close. Please do not bid unless you intend to buy. Negative feedback will be posted for non-payment.

PLEASE NOTE: As discussed on the Angelfish Forum, because these fish are NOT blushing they technically are not koi angels. Nor can they be called orange marbles as they do not carry the 'M' gene. As far as can be told, genetically they are homozygous gold marble (gM/gM) and pearlscale (p/p). Here is a link to the thread:
