These are from a new pair of ultra-high color coverage heterozygous Kois that are from the same lineages of my other Sunset producing Koi pairs. As of this writing, they are under-pea to almost pea sized fish and growing at an accelerated rate. Colors and color coverage are just now developing. These individuals are from a very precocious Koi pair, having bred at 6 mos! A highly valued trait which I make all efforts to select towards in any of my angelfish strains (BTW, early bloomers do not stop spawning early - that's a major "old fish-wife's tale." I have proved that misconception wrong time and again for 40yrs. If anything, there's actually an advantage - larger spawns and a much higher peak production amount which in turn equates to a higher post-peak egg production quantity(in short, improved yield and longer spawning life).
