I plan my auctions a month or two prior to actually releasing them and will usually select auction stock loosely based on some theme. This month's theme is "hobbyist's month" - good quality fish generally priced at a level that won't break the bank. This auction falls under that category. All are approx. nickel size and are between latent phase 2 to early phase 3 of color development.
On a side note, this is one of several auctions in which a progress picture was included to illustrate how profound my Kois color-transition from one phase to the next. Once they've hit that stage, they continue to transition until they sexually mature. The remainder of their first year of life is an intensification of their adult colors. Never a dull moment, that's for sure!
The fish shown a same grade/class siblings to the fish pictured (from a previous closed auction)Illinois intra-state as well as inter-state shipping to boundery states to within 400mi. of the Illinois border is approx. $15.00 (UPS Ground which is a 24hr unguaranteed service, they�re pretty good at keeping within the schedule compared to USPS). Shipping to other states will cost approximately from $38.00 up.
