Description

TERRAPINS AUCTIONS AT AQUABID.COM
FIRST OFF, This is not a WYSIWYG. But an idea of what to expect out of the fish slated for this auction which are underpea to pea sized fish and are in the pre-color stage; i.e. pigments of flesh and black. They are full siblings to these pictured fish but 2 spawns younger. In otherwords, after they were born, their parents had two more later batches, the last of which is the stock for this auction.

Development wise, they're at pre-phase 1 of color development (not shown). Some will develop red eyes. Any half-black looking angelfish from this spawn has a 95% chance of shedding the majority of their black posterior pigment, but as with things angelfish, there will always be exceptions. Those inheriting that trait will shed that pattern at approximately sexual maturity or a couple of months prior. Some will transition into either white OR black blotches on a white area OR black blotches on an orange area OR orange with transitory black-peppering. Rest assured, just because the phenotypic expression shows a half-black like pattern, there is not a single drop of that in their bloodline (or from any of my bloodlines). The trait appears to be connected with the Goldmarble gene.

NO RESERVE AUCTION

Shipping will cost approx $10.00 within Illinois, approx. $15.00 in states bordering Illinois to within 400mi of the border. Shipping to other states will cost approximately between $27.00 to $72.00 depending on location, shipping Class-of-Service and shipping company used.

FROM NOW UNTIL LATE FALL, 2 DAY SHIPPING CARRIES A LAG AT 100% (EXCLUDING SHIPPING).

THANK YOU FOR VISITING AND HAPPY BIDDING!

I will accept Postal Money Orders in lieu of PayPal but it has to be PRE-ARRANGED prior to bidding NOT AFTER you win the auction. SHIPPING OPTIONS INCLUDING FEDEX, USPS, DHL OR YOUR ARRANGEMENT (ALL WITH LAG ON 24HR. CLASS OF SERVICE SPECIFICS ON LAG DOCUMENT). If you want a quick quote on shipping your zip will do however, please understand that it will have an accuracy deviation of +/- 20% due to zoning type, locale access, and carrier p resence. If youd like a close to 100% accuracy I will need your full preferred shipping address (home, work or other location). If you select USPS, best contact your local PO to ensure that it supports a Guaranteed 24 Hr, Class of Service since I have found their website qualifier to be somewhat inaccurate. HAWAII Residents will need to be able to acquire a n import permit from the Hawaii State Dept of Agriculture (tel# 808-586-0844). The paperwork will ask you to declare what you will be importing, in this case you will need to state pterophyllum scalare sp domesticated freshwater Angelfish. If you are unable to secure a legal permit, please do not bid on the auction.

THIS IS THEIR PARENT PAIR
