Hello! This auction is for my wild proven pair of Pterophyllum leopoldi! These are spectacular fish, great parents, wild, and very robust. They have raised several spawns that I've sold here on Aquabid. I will include the 20 or so huge Cardinal Tetras that share the tank with them (yes, they herd the tetras to one side of the tank when they are guarding their young). I'll also throw in some floating java moss and other plants that they seem to like and hang out in. I want these to go to a good home. I will be moving from CT to TN and don't want to move all my fish again, so I'm selling things I normally would keep for myself. I am really not sure I want to sell these, so I'll only let them go at a premium. I ship all fish in insulated boxes, double or triple bagged, pure oxygen, and heat packs or cool packs as needed. There are no additional packing charges. I ship via FedEx using my account and I'll give you a shipping quote to be including in the auction payment, or your FedEx account if you provide your number and then you pay that directly to FedEx. Live arrival guaranteed for overnight shipping or for those areas with one day shipping via FedEx HomeDelivery (local CT, NJ, NY, MA). I prefer paypal, but will accept USPS money orders as well. They are in water with a pH ~7.0 if not a bit more acidic. I just use dechlorinated tap water. Temps between 78 and 80 F. Feed them frozen blood worms and New Life Spectrum all purpose. I take a hands off approach with fish spawning; I don't try to trigger spawning, just keep'm happy. I have lots of live plants, gravel and other fish in all my tanks.
