Description

Submitted for your approval is one pair of Macropodus ocellatus, the Round Tailed Paradise Fish. This is the smallest of the Macropodus species, with males topping out at about 3". I'm getting down to my last few specimens. It's absolutely crucial that these fish get a cool-down period of several months during the winter; otherwise they'll waste away & die - 45-50 degrees is sufficient. I don't want to have to spend another winter with all of my windows open freezing my extremities off, & I don't have room for a pond in my 1 bedroom apartment. That said, they make a great pond fish if you have a pond; toss some in in the next few weeks & by October you'll have more young than you'll know what to do with. The pair you'll be receiving are very healthy & are eating everything I throw them voraciously. Shipping is $16.00 for USPS priority mail or $40.00 for expressed. Fish will be shipped in an insulated box. Payment is by PayPal only.
