Parosphromenus gunawani

6 Nice Little Licorice Gouramis.

Pretty fish

Description: Post is for 6 Parosphromenus gunawani. This small fish is stunning when it colors up, but it is not recommended for beginners. In the wild, they come from extreemly soft, acidic blackwater environments. Due to the acidity of the water, not many pathogens survive in their natural home so they are extreemely sensitive to disease. Also, the acidic environment in nature prevents toxic forms of ammonia from being present. These fish are extraordinarily sensative to ammonia. The important thing is to keep their water CLEAN. My water is not acidic, but it is naturally pretty soft and they do great in it because I keep it CLEAN. I don't overfeed, I only feed live food, and I change 50% of the water every day. While some folks are successful at getting them to eat frozen food, I only feed them live food. Microworms, grindal worms, baby brine shrimp, and daphnia seem to keep them happy. IF you can provide the right food and the right environment and have some experience, then this is a wonderful fish to try. They are a challenge, but, when you see them colored up, they are well worth it! As always, my pics and videos are no good, but I refuse to pirate images, so my crappy home made media are what I use. Google these fish and you will see better pics that show you their real color when they are fired up.

Shipping & Small Print: I have been shipping fish since the early 90's, so I know how to get them to you alive. I take great care and pride in my shipping methods. My goal is to give you the best experience possible...just check my feedback. However, while I ALWAYS fully guarantee my fish will arrive hale and hearty, if the fish sit outside for any leingth of time, they will suffer. To prevent this, I require a pic of any deceased fish be emailed to me within one hour of delivery. After an hour, I assume they were neglected on a sunny or snowy porch and baked or frozen into a culinary delight. Bon appetit!

Shipping is $10.00. I will ship these fish out on Mondays. The payment deadline for each weekly shipment is midnight Saturday. If I have not received payment by midnight Saturday, I will re-list these fish for someone else to purchase. My PayPal address is dan@dansfish.com. I will send these to the shipping address provided by PayPal, so please check to make sure it is correct. These are beautiful fish. If you have never tried these fish, now is your chance to get a nice healthy group. Best Wishes!-Dan
