Care/feeding notes: This is one of the smallest of gouramis, and one of the prettiest. They literally sparkle with metallic blue green. They are hidden nest spawners, building a small bubblenest in a secluded spot in the tank, sometimes even in caves. As an added bonus, sometimes when the males spar with one another, they make a tiny chirping sound that can be heard in the room. These little guys are growing quickly and eating flakes, pellets, newly hatched brine shrimp and frozen copepods.
