Hello folks! I have acquired some more Pseudosphromenus dayi and I am pretty excited about it too! You know why? Well, first off they are egg layers. I have actually been starting to acquire egg layers again, believe it or not! I even have some plecos I will be posting shortly! I feel a big change coming on in the fish room again! LOL! But no need to fret livebearer folks, I will be posting a bunch of those over the next few days too. I gotta get rid of some fish to make room for some new fish! LOL! Back to these Pseudosphromenus dayi. These are a NICE Spike tail Paradise fish that are actually pretty tough to come by and this is the second bag I have gotten from a new collector who obviously likes the way I operate. He must, he's actually sending me GOOD FISH. I love dealing with new folks cuz they always start talking about prices with me and I in turn always cut them off and say something like, "I don't care about prices, I just need HEALTHY, high quality fish I can sell that will kick butt for folks!". I think this guy "get's it" You're bidding on 6 of them, Anyway, another reason I was so excited about getting these fish is A. They are awesome and B. They are SUPER awesome in tanks with floating plants and if you pay any attention to my dealings you already know I have been growing floating plants like crazy recently. The reason these are SUPER awesome in tanks with lots of floating plants is because in bare tanks they tend to clamp their fins and not show the great color they do when they feel comfortable in with a lot of plants. They are also a bubble nest builder but they do NOT build a surface nest. They build a nest IN PLANTS near the surface OR they will even breed underneath leaves OR in rolled up leaves also called "tubes".
