These fish for sale are quite small, around 3/4 of an inch. They will probably not do well in a community tank until they've had some time to grow. I would generally not sell fish this young but I won't be able to ship at all in the winter so this is your last chance for a while.
Rhinogobius delicatus is a hardy, peaceful goby. They lay medium-sized eggs under a slate or saucer; the eggs hatch into free-swimming fry which settle down after a few weeks.
Rhinogobius are generally bottom-dwellers; they like to dig so are ill-suited for planted tanks with sand or soil but won't do much damage with gravel. They're carnivores and fairly easy to feed but won't eat floating foods -- sinking pellets or frozen food are ideal. I feed mine a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms and bug bites.
Shipping is $15 fixed for USPS priority. Multiple orders can be combined; more fish are available at winning bid price.
Fish shown is a fully grown (3") adult, an example of what the fry will look like in a few months.
