Rhinogobius duospilus

6 Nice Gobies. FREE SHIPPING!!!

Pretty fish

Description: Auction is for 6 healthy Rhinogobius duospilus. At least that is the species I think they are. The Rhinogobius genus is undergoing quite a bit of reclassification right now. No matter what they are called, they are outstanding fish with tons of personality and a cool color scheme and body pattern. My pic is terrible and does not show it, but the males have beautiful red flames on their throats which they flare when they display along with some nice color on their forward dorsal and anal fins. For some nicer pics and sundry info, CLICK HERE and read this blog thread. These gobies are constantly displaying and exploring. If you are looking for a cool fish for the bottom of your aquarium, this goby is worth consideration. Rhinogobious are from hill streams in China, so they do better at lower temperatures and appreciate a bit of current. Temps in the 60's to mid 70's seem to be fine. I have kept them at up to 80 degrees for brief periods, but I try to keep them cooler. The warmer the water, the more oxygenation required. The main requirement is that the water be very CLEAN!!! These guys eat frozen bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp, new hatched brine shrimp, micro meal worms, fruit fly larva and, (their favorite!) frozen fresh water mysis shrimp.

Shipping & Small Print: I have been shipping fish since the early 90's, so I know how to get them to you alive. I take great care and pride in my shipping methods. My goal is to give you the best experience possible...just check my feedback. However, while I ALWAYS fully guarantee my fish will arrive hale and hearty, the summer heat has well and truely arrived and, if the fish sit outside for any leingth of time, it will turn them into soup no matter how carefully I pack them. To prevent this, I require a pic of any deceased fish be emailed to me within one hour of delivery. After an hour, I assume they were neglected on a sunny porch and baked into a culinary delight. Bon appetit!

I will be shipping these this Monday. If I have not received payment by noon this Sunday, I will re-list these fish for someone else to purchase. My PayPal address is dan@dansfish.com. I will send these to the shipping address provided by PayPal, so please check to make sure it is correct. Happy bidding-Dan
