6 Scarlet Badis. FREE SHIPPING!!!

Description: Auction is for 6 nice Dario dario, the Scarlet Badis. In my opinion, this is the brightest colored of the badids. These guys are feeding on live baby brine shrimp, micro worms, grindal worms, frozen brine shrimp, and (I know, I know!!!) frozen blood worms. There is a lot of discussion that feeding bloodworms causes bloat in these guys, but I think it is overfeeding bloodworms that is the problem, not the worms themselves. I have found that if I limit bloodworms to one feeding a week, they get the nutritional benefits of the worms and do not develop any problems. This species stays small and will be out competed by bigger, more boisterous fish, but they do well with other small, peaceful tank mates. They have a somewhat undeserved reputation for being difficult. If you keep the water CLEAN and in the mid-high 70's, they should do just fine. Shipping & Small Print: I have been shipping fish since the early 90's, so I know how to get them to you alive. I take great care and pride in my shipping methods. My goal is to give you the best experience possible...just check my feedback. However, while I ALWAYS fully guarantee my fish will arrive hale and hearty, the summer heat has well and truely arrived and, if the fish sit outside for any leingth of time, it will turn them into soup no matter how carefully I pack them. To prevent this, I require a pic of any deceased fish be emailed to me within one hour of delivery. After an hour, I assume they were neglected on a sunny porch and baked into a culinary delight.
