These are the actual fish I have RIGHT NOW. Hello folks! This auction is for 3 Guaranteed sexed Pairs of Scarlet badis , Dario dario. I was able to wheel and deal my way into getting 12 Pr's of these awesome fish and if you have ever tried getting your hands on some females of this species YOU already KNOW how HARD they are to come by. The fish I have are in 100% PERFECT condition and they are eating Decapsulated brine Shrimp eggs along with frozen Brine shrimp White worms, Microworms, AND Lotsoffish mix #2 with GUSTO. Most of the time if you are lucky enough to find these fish in a pet store they are skinny and weak and NOT EATING and worst of all they are ALL MALES. I have invested the time into THESE fish and they are NOW used to eating prepared foods AND they are used to ME sticking my big ugly FACE right up to the breeding boxes I am keeping them in and checking them out from 6 inches away. In other words these fish are totally acclimated to TANK LIFE and are NOW ready to breed and enjoy captive life in one of YOUR fish tanks. One MAJOR tip I can give you regarding working with these fish is this- I HAVE bred these more than once but ALWAYS in tanks 5 1/2 gallons or smaller with a sponge filter set on low and I have ALWAYS had them lay eggs near the center of a ball of Java moss. I am usually NOT aware of their breeding until I see a group of fry come swimming out of the Java moss looking for food. There may be better or different ways of working with these fish BUT I have had repeated luck spawning and keeping them in this fashion. I WILL include some FLOATING PLANTS and a couple tablespoons of decapped brine shrimp eggs ALONG with some Lotsoffish #2 with this auction too. These fish WILL aggressively eat both those foods for you. I have an extremely LIMITED amount of these Pairs so if you want to give them a try BID NOW cuz once they are gone I do NOT foresee more Pr's of them any time soon. These fish are a super big PITA for me to acquire and I usually only go hunting them down once a year or so.
