Description

The largest sized pellet we have for L144's is "Sharpbubbles Pleco Chow". It the 9.5 mm size pellet. This auction is for 4 ounces of food shipped first class. We can also combine this food with other auctions.

Feeding Large Plecos:
We rotate foods with our fish. This is a great addition to that rotation. Plecos often feed at night, so we drop this pellet into the tanks as we go to bed. As our tanks hold more than one type off aquatic life, everyone enjoys this food.

Gathering Snails (all types):
Another use for this Sharpbubbles Pleco Chow is to gather snails (snails not included). Drop a pellet into any tank and wait 20 minutes. The snails race to the pellet and you can scoop them up with a fish net.

I scoop both the pellet and the snails out of the tank. If there are still smaller snails still in the tank, place the Chow pellet about where it was. Those smaller snails are on their way!
Now I can then sort my snails (and keep the ones I like), or let them go to someone else.

Feeding Briggs Snails:
In addition, we feed Sharpbubbles Pleco Chow to our larger breeding (quarter plus size) Briggs snails (not included in this auction). Briggs are quick and only take a few minutes to find the pellet. We get outstanding growth feeding this food with our snails growing to be up to four inches.
