This is a resealable bag of 16 grams of high protein, all natural freeze dried bloodworms that are buoyant and extremely digestable for bettas, guppies, and other freshwater fish. It is an excellent substitute for live feed.

These are whole-bodied, freeze dried midge fly larvae (Chironomids) that are great treats for marine and freshwater fish. They are harvested from lakes and slow-moving rivers, cleaned of detrital material in fresh water, flash frozen, and freeze dried to preserve both their nutrient value (as high as 60% protein) and their organoleptic qualities. These bloodworms are not over-dried; they remain pliable and highly digestible.

The bloodworms are packed in two-ounce PET plastic jars to keep the product secure during transit, and protected from air and moisture during storage.
