This fry food combination virtually eliminates fry losses due to starvation during the very critical first few days and weeks of life. It is suitable for the smallest of fry, including Bettas and all Anabantoids, Rainbows, Killis, Corys, Danios, Tetras, Rasboras, Barbs and all fry that need extremely small yet highly nutritious food early on. It is not only much easier to use, but far more nutritious in terms of proteins and much needed fatty acids and aminos than traditional live foods such as infusoria.

Here is what you get

One Full Ounce+ of Ultra-Fine, Food Grade Spirulina (30 grams)

A Half Ounce of APR - Artificial Plankton and Rotifers (14 grams+)

One Full Ounce+ of Great Salt Lake Decapsulated Brine Shrimp Eggs (30 grams) dual

APR (Artificial Plankton and Rotifers) is the best first food for fry of all species and eliminates losses due to starving out of small fry in those first few critical days after yolk sac absorbtion. It is extremely high in critical aminos and fatty acids as well as much needed protein. It has saved numerous spawns of Bettas and extremely small fry such as Celestial Pearl Danios and is always the first food for all of my small fry. Fine ground spirulina powder is among the most nutritious foods on earth and is the fry food equivalent of a mega-multi-vitamin with an astounding 60% protein and aminos, as well as nutrients too numerous to list here but which you can view HERE When fed with APR it provides a one-two punch that dramatically decreases fry mortality and gives your new fry a growth spurt you have likely not experienced before.

Decapsulated brine shrimp eggs are non-hatching and are fed as they are without the need for the messy and often uncertain process of hatching and harvesting baby brine shrimp. The shells have been removed, leaving the embryo and full nutritious yolk sac within untouched. Baby brine shrimp begin losing nutritious value as soon as they hatch and start consuming the yolk sac. Here that nutritious gem is intact and ready for your fry to feed on. The decapsulating process sterilizes the eggs so they cannot carry any bacteria into your fry tank AND there are no empty shells to be ingested by your fry to kill them by blocking their digestive system.
