If you pay prior to Monday morning your culture is almost certain to ship that Monday or Tuesday. I offer a no questions asked replacement policy. The image shows my 1 & 2 liter, closed-cycle, mini cultures under fluorescent shop lights.


AUCTION
You select two cultures. The aquatic cultures are all 1 liter in size. Please tell me in your Paypal payment note which two you want by using the below numbers. Not telling me which delays your order.

WHITE WORMS
The medium is taken directly from an established culture. It will contain around 100 worms plus eggs. This is a warm temperature strain.

They are not kept in a sterile environment.


SCUDS
Mine are cultured in my garage under fluorescent light. The only time I heat the culture is during the winter - at minimum low of 68 degrees. They are fed fish food, fruits, vegetables, and crushed snails. You receive 40 to 50 scuds. They are not cultured in a sterile environment.


MOINA OR DAPHNIA
I have two versions of each: outdoor culture, or an indoor, closed-cycle culture, that has been running under fluorescent light for several weeks. My daphnia are a medium-large size. Over the years, I've compared a number of different strains, and these particular strains were the best.

Outdoor:
My outdoor daphnia are cultured in 20 gallon buckets. The bottle will contain around 100 daphnia.

Indoor:
These are 'closed-cycle cultures that have been running for several weeks in the bottle. When you receive this you pick out a few daphnia to start your primary, then place the bottle under a light. It will thrive for over one year without feeding - as long as you supply light. The light & organic matter, encourages the growth of algae & bacteria, which supports a small colony of daphnia. This is the same as if you place snails into a lit container with organic matter - it turns into a permenant snail colony. A bottle supports around two dozen daphnia or 50 moina.

The purpose of receiving your daphnia this way is it gives you more time to establish a new culture - a time when daphnia are most vulnerable to crashing. If your primary cuture crashes, pick out a few daphnia from the bottle, and try again. FYI: It only takes a couple daphnia to quickly start any indoor culture..

These are free of other organisms. The daphnia were isolated and the culture started with sterile ingredients. Just place this under a light and you will have a source of daphnia for months.


COPEPOD
Freshwater cyclops. These are closed cycle cultures like daphnia. Each bottle contains a couple dozen cyclops. This strain is easy to coculture with moina.

The culture will be free of other organisms. The cyclops were isolated and the culture started with sterile ingredients.


DERO
These are closed cycle cultures like daphnia. Each bottle contains a couple dozen DERO.. .

The culture will be free of other organisms. The cyclops were isolated and the culture started with sterile ingredients.



GUARANTEE
I will replace a DOA package at no cost to you. If a package from me shows up dead, simply message me, and I will put another in the mail.

The time a package is vulnerable is when your mail carrier is bringing it to your home. If the package is left in the elements it's likely to perish. Please have somebody home that is prepared to greet your mail carrier.
