AUCTION
You select two 1 liter bottles. The photo shows bottles with only water for reference. White worms are sent in something similar in size.

WHITE WORMS
Enough medium for two sandwich sized containers. The medium is taken directly from an established culture. It will contain around 100 worms plus eggs.

SCUDS
Cultured in my unheated garage(minimum low of 68 degrees), under fluorescent light, and fed fish food, fruits, vegetables, and crushed snails. You receive 40 to 50 scuds.

MOINA OR MAGNA(your choice)
These are 'cycled' cultures that have been running for several weeks in the bottle. It will thrive without feeding for over one year as it's a closed system - as long as you give it light. I add the right organic matter, add a piece of banana peel, and place that under fluorescent light. The light and organic matter encourages the growth of algae and bacteria that supports a small colony of daphnia. A bottle supports about two dozen daphnia and around 50 moina.

The purpose of receiving your daphnia this way is it gives you more time to establish a new culture - a time when daphnia are most vulnerable to crashing. If your primary cuture crashes pick out a few daphnia from the bottle and try again. FYI: It only takes a few daphnia to quickly start any indoor culture.

The culture will be free of other organisms. The daphnia were isolated and the culture started with sterile ingredients. Just place this under a light and you will have a source of daphnia for over one year.

COPEPOD
Freshwater cyclops. These are cycled cultures like the daphnia. Each bottle contains a couple dozen cyclops. This strain is easy to coculture with daphnia, especially moina because they are similar in size.

The culture will be free of other organisms. The cyclops were isolated and the culture started with sterile ingredients. Just place this under a light and you will have a source of cyclops for over one year.

GUARANTEE
I will replace a DOA package at no cost to you.
